We make Natural Impulse soaps by hand from scratch using the "cold process" method, and start with the same wonderful basic recipe: (oils are listed in order of their weight in the recipe) Olive Oil - for its skin-friendly properties, Palm Oil - for its gentleness and ability to produce a harder and longer-lasting bar, and Coconut Oil - for its cleansing and lathering capabilities. The soaps are then further enriched with Avocado oil, well known for its skin-soothing virtues. (Makes a silky feeling bar! We also love avocado oil because it has plenty of natural vitimins A, E, and D.) Castor oil is added to hold the scent and to further enhance lather, and a bit of Palm Stearic (a natural palm oil component) is used to add hardness to the bars and to promote their longevity. Extra ingredients included in certain soaps are shown below next to the names. |

in the form of fragrance and/or essential oils. The chart below shows the scent sources.
